This week, President Trump announced a historic agreement with the Kingdom of Denmark and Greenland that gives the United States permanent control over security — and all other needs — in Greenland, at no cost to the American people. For over 100 years, Presidents understood the strategic importance of Greenland, but none were able to act. President Trump described the agreement as an “Infinite Life” deal with no end: from now on, no U.S. adversary can ever have a base, a military presence, or make sensitive investments in Greenland without America’s express written approval. The administration will immediately begin developing a large military presence in Greenland, working alongside the people of Greenland in its development.
On September 18, President Trump announced that all 50 States’ Medicaid programs will now benefit from Most-Favored-Nation drug pricing — matching the lowest prices paid by other developed nations. The Council of Economic Advisers estimates taxpayers will save $64.3 billion over the next decade on Medicaid drug costs alone, part of a projected $600 billion in total savings from the President’s MFN agreements, which now cover 26 manufacturers and 89% of the branded drug market.
Also on September 18, the President signed an Executive Order and Proclamation to further protect American workers in the H-1B visa program, renewing the $100,000 fee on certain applications and directing agencies to scrutinize petitions where American workers are at risk of being laid off. Since the original 2025 action, H-1B registrations by the largest IT outsourcing firms have fallen 92%, and consular processing requests have dropped nearly 97%.
On September 17, President Trump gave America’s sportsmen a seat at the table, signing actions to reinvigorate America’s hunting heritage and restore American saltwater angling and recreation, rolling back punishing Biden-era regulations on hunters, anglers, and boaters. Earlier in the week, the President moved to restore reciprocity in government procurement and deliver meaningful water quality improvements for American communities.

President Trump announced a historic agreement with the Kingdom of Denmark and Greenland that gives the United States permanent control over security and all other needs in Greenland, completely addressing every longstanding U.S. concern. The World’s Lowest Drug Prices Come to All 50 State Medicaid Programs. On September 18, President Trump announced that every State Medicaid program in America will now benefit from Most-Favored-Nation (MFN) drug pricing, matching the lowest prices paid in other developed nations. Under the new model, participating manufacturers provide rebates so the final price to Medicaid never exceeds the MFN price — across hundreds of drugs in oncology, diabetes care, asthma, and more. The Council of Economic Advisers estimates $64.3 billion in Medicaid savings over the next decade ($36.6B federal, $27.6B state), part of a projected $600 billion in total MFN savings. Since the launch of TrumpRx.gov in February, patients have already saved more than $700 million on medicines.
Protecting American Workers: The $100,000 H-1B Fee Renewed. Also on September 18, President Trump signed an Executive Order and Proclamation to further protect American jobs from abuse of the H-1B visa program. The Proclamation renews the $100,000 fee on certain H-1B applications first imposed in 2025, and the Order directs agencies to consider employers’ recent or planned layoffs of U.S. workers when reviewing petitions. The results of the President’s prior action speak for themselves: a 92% drop in H-1B registrations from the largest IT outsourcing firms and a nearly 97% decrease in consular processing requests — with a decisive shift toward higher-skilled, higher-wage workers.
America’s Hunters and Anglers Get a Seat at the Table. On September 17, President Trump signed executive actions to reinvigorate America’s hunting heritage and restore American saltwater angling and recreation — taking a wrecking ball to the punishing Biden-era regulations that burdened hunters, anglers, and boaters. It is the first time America’s sportsmen have had a dedicated seat at the White House table, a direct fulfillment of the President’s promise to protect the outdoor traditions that define the American way of life.
