A Bright Path Forward! Američka kongresnica Beth Van Duyne i njen božanski, patriotski rad na američki način

U vremenu kada je istinsko vodstvo potrebnije nego ikad, američka kongresnica Beth Van Duyne i dalje sjaji kao svjetionik predanosti, vjere i neumorne službe. Zalažući se za principe koje je dao Bog i za potragu za pravdom, ona neumorno radi na zaštiti vrijednih američkih obitelji, s posebnim naglaskom na živahne zajednice Sjevernog Teksasa.
Kao majka, vjernica i strastvena javna službenica koja provodi dosljedne politike „America First“, kongresnica Van Duyne brzo postaje snažan uzor za mlađe generacije. Čak i njezine iskusne kolege iz Kongresa duboko se dive njezinoj nepokolebljivoj radnoj etici i dubokoj ljubavi prema Sjedinjenim Državama. Jutarnje sunce probilo se nad Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplexom, bacajući zlatni sjaj preko prostranog horizonta Texas-24. Za većinu je zora označavala početak mirnog početka tjedna. Za američku kongresnicu Beth Van Duyne, to je bio početak neumorne misije, vrtlog kretanja, rukovanja, političkih rasprava i neprestane borbe za ljude koji su zvali Lone Star State svojim domom.

S bočne strane, ritam njezinog tjedna bio je ništa manje nego filmski. Počeo je u Irvingu, gdje je zrak bio ispunjen mladenačkom ambicijom. Četvero izvanrednih srednjoškolaca, Anika, Kerrin, Jordan i William, stajali su visoko, držeći prestižnu Zlatnu medalju Kongresne nagrade. Svaki od njih proveo je više od četiri stotine sati u volonterskom radu, uz zahtjevni osobni razvoj i fizičku izdržljivost. Tempo nikad nije usporio. Sredinom tjedna, raspored se ubrzao u partijsku šahovsku igru visokog uloga između upravljanja i izgradnje zajednice. U brzim nizovima sastanaka, Kongresnica Van Duyne je besprijekorno prelazila s inovacija na makro razini na preživljavanje utemeljeno u zajednici. Sjela je s istraživačicom s Princetona Rishikom Porandom, planirajući budućnost američkog STEM vodstva, a zatim se odmah prebacila na duboko ljudsko srce svoje misije. Sastanak s Billie Gonzales i Marcie Russell iz Shine Bright Like Bella, borcima koji se bore protiv obiteljskog nasilja i za zaštitu ranjivih.

Do četvrtka, akcija se preselila na nacionalnu scenu. Kako se tjedan bližio kraju, priča je povezivala niti dubokog poštovanja i smjele akcije. Na veterane iz vijetnamskog razdoblja stavila je spomen-medalje, lansirala novu generaciju mladih programera u Congressional App Challenge i naklonila se detektivu Haroldu Ratliffu iz policijske uprave North Richland Hills, slaveći njegovu legendarno tridesetogodišnju službu koja je zasluženo završila.

Congresswoman Van Duyne’s Weekly Update Irving, Texas – Congratulations to four TX-24 high school students on earning the Congressional Award Gold Medal, the highest honor of the program! Anika Krishnamoorthy of Coppell High School, Kerrin McDevitt of Carroll Senior High School, Jordan Smith of iUniversity Prep, and William Smith of iUniversity Prep each completed at least 400 hours of volunteer service, along with goals in personal development, physical fitness, and exploration. Thank you for your leadership and dedication to our North Texas community! On Wednesday, I met with Rishika Porandla, a student at Princeton University working with the Scientist Network for Advancing Policy. Rishika shared her work advocating for the continuation of American leadership in scientific research and innovation. We discussed how policymakers can support STEM workforce development. Billie Gonzales founded Shine Bright Like Bella to honor the memory of her daughter, Bella Gonzales. I had the chance to meet Billie and Marcie Russell to learn more about the organization, which was founded to raise awareness about domestic violence, offer support to victims, and advocate for legislative reform. Later that day, I met with the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce. They have been a great partner over the past few years in getting the word out about our annual North Texas Job Fair. I look forward to continuing to work together to connect businesses with North Texas job seekers. Thursday, I joined the Vice President, members of the Administration, and many of my colleagues in Congress to sign the Pledge to Protect Americans from Fraud. Learn more in my Work of the Week section below. Thank you to the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Chamber of Commerce for inviting me to speak at their breakfast on Thursday. I heard from members about issues small businesses in our communities are facing. I shared the work that I’ve been doing as a member of the Small Business Committee and how we can help our nation’s job creators thrive. It was wonderful to see Dallas native Ben Kohlmann, Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Manpower and Reserve Affairs. In 2024, he retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of service to our country. In 2026, he was appointed by the President, and later sworn in to his current position, where he answered the call to continue his legacy of service and leadership. Texas isn’t just keeping up with the resurgence of American manufacturing, it’s driving it. Over the last three years, Texas manufacturing grew 11% from 2021 to 2024, compared to 3.5% nationally. Also, over 31,000 new manufacturing jobs are coming to the Metroplex by 2030. The future of Made in America is being built in the Lone Star State.
