Proslava službe i zajedničkog duha. Prošli tjedan, Kongresnica je odvojila vrijeme kako bi odala počast stupovima američkog društva. Pozdrav američkoj vojsci. Nedjelja je obilježila 251 godinu žrtve i službe. Kongresnica Van Duyne izrazila je svoju duboku zahvalnost hrabrim muškarcima i ženama koji od 1775. godine brane američku slobodu, naglašavajući da služba veterana iz Teksasa nikada neće biti zaboravljena.

UFC Freedom 250. Bila je to večer puna energije na UFC Freedom 250! Kongresnica se pridružila kolegama poput predsjednika Zastupničkog doma Mikea Johnsona, zastupnika Brandona Gilla i tajnice poljoprivrede Brooke Rollins na spektakularnom događaju koji je uključivao nezaboravan prelet američkih zračnih snaga Thunderbirds i američkih mornaričkih Blue Angels.

Globalna energija u Sjevernom Teksasu. Sjeverni Teksas trenutno je u međunarodnom centru pažnje jer domaćin devet utakmica FIFA Svjetskog prvenstva. Kongresnica je istaknula nevjerojatan ekonomski poticaj koji to donosi lokalnim poslovanjima, hotelima i restoranima. Izrazila je ponos što vidi posjetitelje iz cijelog svijeta kako iskuse gostoljubivost Sjevernog Teksasa, nadajući se da će otići s trajnom ljubavlju prema njihovoj regiji i zemlji.

Zakonodavne Akcije i Edukativne Inicijative. Kongresnica Beth Van Duyne i dalje je vrijedna na zakonodavnom planu. Monday evening was incredible at UFC Freedom 250! I saw many of my colleagues, including Speaker Johnson and Rep. Brandon Gill, as well as some of this administration’s great cabinet officials, like fellow Texan, Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins! The evening also featured an unforgettable flyover by the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and the U.S. Navy Blue Angels! The FIFA World Cup is underway and fans from across the globe are descending on North Texas, as we are holding nine matches in Arlington. It has already been so great to see the energy and excitement visitors have brought to our community for the first two matches, and with seven more still to be played, the energy is only going to grow. Events like this bring real economic impact to our local businesses, hotels, and restaurants, and we are glad to see North Texas shine on a global stage. We hope every visitor leaves with a love of Texas and America that brings them back for years to come. This week, I had the chance to catch up with a former Texas-24 Hometown Hero, Omar Abuabara, a Collin County Deputy Constable.
