Trump i Bijela kuća objavili video na Truth Socialu i Facebooku u kojem je potvrdio da Sjedinjene Države provode “velike borbene operacije u Iranu.” Trump je Operaciju prikazao kao preventivni udar osmišljen da neutralizira “neposredne prijetnje” od onoga što je nazvao “zlokobnom skupinom vrlo teških, užasnih ljudi.”

Američko Ministarstvo rata je američku komponentu označilo kao „Operacija Epski Bijes“.
