For years, I’ve been sounding the alarm on rampant hospice fraud across the country, this is fraud that hurts the very people who need care most.
In May, I introduced the Protecting Seniors and Stopping Fraudsters Act to strengthen Medicare oversight, crack down on bad actors, protect seniors from fraudulent enrollments, and improve accountability across the hospice and home health system.

On Tuesday, the Department of Justice (DOJ) announced the National Health Care Fraud Takedown, 455 defendants were charged, including 90 doctors and licensed medical professionals, in connection with over $6.5 billion in alleged fraud.

Had a productive meeting with Louise Pentland, Chief Legal Officer at Adobe. We discussed my bill, the CREATOR Act, legislation designed to safeguard visual artists from the unauthorized commercial exploitation of their unique and creative artistic styles in the age of artificial intelligence (AI).
It was great to join the Canadian American Business Council for their Annual General Meeting. I had the opportunity to speak with members about my recent meeting with Ontario’s Finance Minister and the critical trade relationship between our two countries.

This week, I introduced the Getting Terrorist Fanatics Out (GTFO) Act, in response to the March 12th terrorist attacks at Old Dominion University and Temple Israel in West Bloomfield Township, Michigan. Mandating the denaturalization of any naturalized citizen convicted of terrorist offenses.
